R10 Telespiel 9010
Another system that looks similar to the System Markint 4A system or the Novoton Video-Sports is the R10 Telespiel 9010. It was developed in 1979 by a Hong Kong manufacturer for the German market. The exact name of the manufacturer, which produced several similar systems with a modified housing and internal hardware architecture for different countries, could no longer be verified to this day. Similar electronics and chips were used in all devices, the system is based on the AY-3-8500 chipset from General Instruments and thus offers four different games: Tennis, Hockey, Squash and Handball.

The video game 9010 has two small detachable controllers with buttons. It has a black and white display on the screen and a built-in loudspeaker for the sound, so the sounds were played back by the device itself and not by the TV itself. The size of the system is 39 x 22 x 8 cm and belonged to that time , for which only Pong-like games run on it, to a rather large case and was technically a bit behind the times. It has an RF TV video output and the device itself runs on 6 x 1.5 volt batteries. The power supply is therefore internal via 9 V direct current.

The Telespiel 9010 offers various switches for control, including on/off switch, ball speed, ball angle, club size and service manual/automatic.

It is interesting to mention that the video game 9010 was mainly sold in Germany. The exact brand name of the system is not clearly stated. However, it could be that R10 is the actual brand name, which has not been verified to this day.
